Adding Accounts in General Ledger

  • Go to the Accounting drop down menu and select Edit Ledger.​

  • Select Accounts from under General Options at the side of the page.​

  • You will now see the Accounts box. Click Add Account.

  • Assign a name to the Account (i.e. Current Account, Business Account, Specific Bank Accounts etc.) and assign these a Starting Balance (This is variable depending on whether you want to start this as the balance as it stands currently, or from zero).

  • Click OK once you have added your accounts.​
