There are three general approaches to marketing to your clients within Salon Iris.
Whichever of these options you choose is a business decision you must make in your approach to marketing within the regulations of GDPR.
PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL CUSTOMERS SHOULD BE ASKED FOR THEIR MARKETING CONTACT PREFERENCES WHEN THEY VISIT THE BUSINESS AND YOU SHOULD RECORD THEIR ANSWER IN THAT CUSTOMERS FORMULA HISTORY SO IT IS DATE AND TIME STAMPED.
NOTE: It is worth making sure that your client base is up to date and that you wont be contacting clients who have not visited your business for a good while (we recommend only contacting clients who have visited within the last two years). To make clients inactive, click here.
OPTION THREE: You can take the point of view of emailing your clients and stating that unless they inform you via email, phone or in person that they would like to receive emails for marketing, then you can OPT OUT the entire client base of Salon Iris.
You MUST send out this email before you OPT OUT your database as it is irreversible once everyone has been opted out.
